Dear User,

the following has been added to SATELLITEs functions:

Additional setup options:

* Selecting the button "G-Thru" installs a MIDI THRU function 
that is active on the desktop and in any NON MIDI program, at
all time, not only when SATELLITE is open. When you work with a 
sequencer then this will naturally manage the MIDI thru function
and there's no need to activate G-Thru.
It is a MIDI thru and not a MIDI merge: don't play on your
keyboard while sending a sound under SATELLITE !
Every time a MIDI byte is sent thru the Atari, a micro dot 
flashes at the top right corner of the screen (to help you  
check your connections). Any message is sent thru, included 
system exclusive.

* Each of the 50 synths or devices defined in the setup can be 
attributed a preset path for disk access. This is useful for 
Hard disk owners. For instance you could set the following path..

 for M1:     D:\KORG\M1_SOUND
 for DX7:    C:\YAMAHA\SOUNDS\DX_BANK
 etc...

* Selecting the mouse icon switches on/off a mouse speeder. 
This mouse accelerator is active at all time, not only when 
SATELLITE is open.

All additional features are saved with the setup.

* For PRO 24 users: after closing SATELLITE, if some normally 
unselected buttons appear selected, then simply redraw the PRO 24
screen (menu option "About...").

Lieber Anwender,

folgende Funktionen sind im SATELLITE dazugekommen:


* Anw„hlen des Feldes "G-Thru" installiert eine MIDI THRU Funktion.
Diese ist zu jeder Zeit sowohl auf dem Desktop als auch in jedem 
NICHT-MIDI-Programm aktiv; nicht nur dann, wenn SATELLITE angew„hlt
ist. Bei der Arbeit mit einem Sequencer wird diese Funktion nicht
ben”tigt.  Es handelt sich um ein MIDI THRU und nicht um MIDI MERGE:
spielen Sie daher w„hrend der Sound�bertragung durch SATELLITE nicht
auf Ihrem Keyboard !
Ein 'LED' rechts oben auf Ihrem Bildschirm informiert Sie durch
'Aufleuchten' dar�ber, daž MIDI bytes durch Ihren Atari geschickt
werden. Alle MIDI messages werden weitergeleitet, auch System 
exklusive.

* Jedem der 50 im Setup definierten Instrumente kann ein Suchpfad 
f�r das entsprechende Laufwerk zugeordnet werden. Dies macht besonders
f�r Harddisk-Besitzer Sinn.  Sie k”nnten beispielsweise f�r folgende
Instrumente folgende Suchpfade einstellen:

f�r M1:   D:\KORG\M1_SOUND
f�r DX7:  C:\YAMAHA\SOUNDS\DX_BANK
usw....

* Anklicken des Maus-Symbols schaltet den Maus-Speeder an/ab.
Die Einstellung wirkt auch, wenn SATELLITE geschlossen ist.

Alle o.g. zus„tzlichen Features k”nnen mit dem Setup abgespeichert
werden.

* F�r TWENTYFOUR-Anwender:  Falls nach dem Schliežen von SATELLITE
normalerweise nicht angew„hlte Felder/Kn”pfe angew„hlt erscheinen,
dann w„hlen Sie die Men�option Redraw Screen im Men� "ABOUT" an, um
den Bildschirm neu aufbauen zu lassen.
