Q: There is no sound.
A: Are you sure that you have an OPL3 compatible card ?
   Have you used "-z80" ?

Q: Sound is not that great.
A: I know :)  The YM2612 has _several_ features that an OPL3 doesn't have.
   I know there is a rumor that the YM2612 would be the same as an OPL3
   but they are by far not the same !  They are similar but that's all.
   The only way to do it correct is to emulate the YM2612 through a DAC.
   (finally that's the only way for sound with other platforms anyway).
   But there is "-nosound" that disables sound.

Q: Will there be 6-button-support ?
A: Yes, if I can find details about 6-button-joypads.
   And yes, I know that it's important to play certain games.

Q: Where can I find ROM-images ?
A: You'll NEVER get them from me nor can I tell you where to find them.
   Everyone who is able to use search-engines (e.g. AltaVista)
   (this means: everyone with a brain) will find them.
   And please don't ask me why I don't tell you where to find them :)

Q: The game XYZ doesn't work.
A: Try to use "-z80" or "-fakedz80". You can also try to use "gennew.exe"
   instead of "genem.exe". There are games (e.g. Street Fighter II+) that
   only work with "gennew.exe".
   Other games (e.g. Tiny Toon) have a country lock. Try to use "-europe"
   or "-japan".
   And please: Don't e-mail me that your most loved game doesn't work !
   I can't help you and for sure I'll not try to get it to work. I've enough
   games that don't work and it's most likely that fixing one bug/unsupported
   feature solves problems in many other games.

Q: Phantasy Star series...
A: There are problems with Phantasy Star (music goes on but the game is locked).
   It looks like a timing-issue and this timing-issue also causes locks in other
   games (Herzog zwei, Xenon II, Sonic's Pinball etc.).

Q: When will the next version arrive ?
A: I don't know when I'll release the next version. 
   You may want to check my WWW-site at "http://myst.slcc.edu/~markus" from
   time to time.
   I don't announce new versions in comp.emulators.* because they are not worth
   reading anymore.

Q: It's too slow on my PC.
A: Try to increase the frame-skipping with "-frame x". x=1...10
   You can try to use "gennew.exe", too.
   Don't run GenEm with Win95 ;-)

Q: Am I allowed to put GenEm on my WWW/FTP-site ?
A: As long as your site is non-commercial: YES.
   Non-commercial means that it's a private or education-oriented site.
   Commercial means a site of a company.

Q: There are missing lines !
A: Use "-modex" to enable 320x240 resolution.

Q: Two player-mode in Sonic doesn't work.
A: This is an interlaced mode that is not (yet) supported.
