Friday 21th July 1995 64NET now works with GEOS, however at this stage the drivers must be purchased seperately from: Performance Peripherals Europe. phone: +49 2227 3221 the estimated cost is approx DM25. * At a later stage the GEOS software for 64net may be bundled with the 64net distribution, and infact can be purchased at the same time you buy the registered version of 64net. TO USE 64NET WITH GEOS: 1) Copy the relevant GEOS files onto your GEOS boot disk, ie: 64NET CONFIG 64NET MGR 64NET MOVE 64NET TIME 64NET SET 64NET PRINT 2) On the IBM-PC run 64NETCFG.EXE from your 64net directory. * Ensure that "Virtualised quick-mount list" is active. If you have .D64 .D71 or .D81 files you wish to access from GEOS, use the "Add Mounts" option to search for them, and assimilate them into your mount list. 3) Start 64NET on your IBM-PC 4) Boot your GEOS disk. * Run "64NET MGR" from GEOS. If you have no partitions defined, then create one or more. This a relatively simple menu driven process. * Run "64NET CONFIG" and assign one or more unused drives to be used with 64NET. Then save your configuration and quit. Once you have followed these steps, GEOS should now recognuise 64NET, and continue to do so even after re-boot. NOTE: Do not use RBOOT, as it will not redetect 64NET as the autoexecs will not necessarily be run Paul Gardner-Stephen
