notes for STonX DOS version:

i have used Watcom C/C++ to port StonX from Unix to DOS. 
It is a 32Bit executable which uses the DOS4GW DOS extender.

to run STonX you need these things:

1. a TOS image file.
--------------------
You need a TOS image file to run STonX. Because of copyright reasons this file
is not included in this package. This version of the executable only supports
TOS 2.x. 

2. memory.
----------
I have 32MB RAM and it works fine. I do not tested other memory configurations.

3. a fast processor.
--------------------
a Pentium is recommended, but it also runs on a 486. 

4. a sound blaster card for audio emulation.
--------------------------------------------
only sound blaster cards are supported. I never tried to program sound cards 
before. So the emulation could be buggy. Try the switch -noaudio if you have 
problems.

5. a mouse driver.
