The following files should be in this self-extracting .ZIP file: HDTEST.EXE The HDTEST program HDCHEK.EXE The HDCHEK program HDTEST.DOC Documentation file MAKETXT.EXE DOC file processor (see below) README.1ST This file The HDTEST.DOC file is formatted to be printed out in 10-point type on standard-size (11" X 8") paper by an (otherwise teletype-like) printer which is capable of underlining by doing a without a and overtyping the previous line - almost all modern printers can do this. If you want to view it in an editor and/or TYPE it to the console, you will need to remove the underlining. To do this, simply give the command "MAKETXT HDTEST" (without the quotes, of course). MAKETXT will read the .DOC file (which it expects to find in the current directory) and write a second file called HDTEST.TXT, which can be edited or TYPEd without difficulty. Users of versions of HDTEST prior to V4.45 should see the "CHANGES FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS" section of the documentation.
