This information is for those who like command driven software instead of menus.
All the commands are directly accessible from any of three modes by using
prefixed function keys. You prefix a command by holding down the Ctrl, Shift, or
Alt key while you press the command function key.  The command layout is:

EDIT MODE:         Prefix the function keys with the Ctrl key.
    1 Help 3 Format 4 Ins/Del  5 Stretch 6 Shift  7 Erase 8 Hold  9 Add    10 OV

CREATE MODE:       Prefix the function keys with the Shift key.
    1 Help          4 P-Box    5 P-List  6 P-File 7 P-Dec         9 P-Line 10 OV

INPUT/OUTPUT MODE: Prefix the function keys with the Alt key.
    1 Help          4 Defaults 5 Merge   6 Read   7 Save  8 Print 9 Clr    10 OV


For example: While in Input/Output Mode you can press
Ctrl-F3 to reformat text, or while in Edit Mode you
can press Alt-F6 to save the workspace in a file.

EasyChart will respond to the characters .P in
columns 1 and 2 of any row in the workspace by
doing a page eject. The page eject will make an
attempt to extend the vertical figure characters on
the row with the .P to the beginning of the next
physical page of paper. In this way, you can
prevent figures from being printed accross page
boundries, while still maintaining the links
between the figures.
