The F3-Format, F4-Ins/Del, F5-Stretch, F6-Shift, F7-Erase, and F8-Hold
commands all operate using a highlighted rectangular area of the workspace.
When using these commands you must highlight an area of the workspace. How
to do this is discussed on the next page. The highlighted area has one
corner anchored at the cursor position when you enter the command, so you
must know the location of your cursor. This will become obvious when you
use the commands.

The information line, the last line on the screen,
provides information about the command being used.

If you enter one of these commands by mistake,
press the F3 (Abandon) or escape (Esc)
key to abandon the command without taking
any action. The workspace is unchanged.

After highlighting an area, press the F2

F4 Ins/Del inserts or deletes the rows or columns highlighted.

F5 Stretch justifies the figure within the highlighted
