Min requirements: 1meg SVGA card (512k will work but will flicker, use "-O5" option) EMS 4.0 driver 386+ 600ks of free main memory. It'd be nice if you upload this game to any ftp sites/BBSes you visit, thanks. First run SETUP to everything thing up. MAIL: Hankin Chick(programmer): tancs@donut.dialix.oz.au Peter Scherr(graphics artist): Po Box 191, Modbury S.A., Australia, 5092 Mike Crane(title tank graphics) err... forgot his address, ph:+61-2-660-7527 IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!! * Put "device=c:\dos\emm386.sys" on your CONFIG.SYS file if it's not already there. SVGA CARD PROBLEMS... If you have a Trident 8900 & the scrolling is bad, try running TRIDENT.BAT Stick with UNIVBE. OEM VESA drivers suck, I've found a problem in just about everyone. The external VESA.EXE(v1.02 dated 1990) driver that came with the Trident 8900 won't work cos it has bugs in it(it doesn't tell me all the different modes & the size of the video card). When I exit out the program using trident 8900c with QUATEL BIOS the screen is scrolled 1 dot & there's stuff at the right side of the screen. This doesn't happen with UNIVBE. S3 cards don't work with this game cos it's buggy. NO MUSIC!... If there's sound effects but no music, you'll need more main memory for the .MOD. QEMM... QEMM has a bug which trashes the stack registers sometimes. Use the -OE option to catch this error. Otherwise the program will run ok with QEMM cept that there'll be static on the sprites sometimes. CRASH... I've had this thing crash lots during it's development. A good thing to do for all programs is to press the RESET button & hold it down for at least 15 secs & reboot & run the game again. This should stop some crashes. TOO SLOW???? Local bus video card helps to get things faster cos it spends most of it's time writing to the video card.
