All the games share a smooth, elegant, and consistent push-button interface and the same powerful, enjoyable features. Why is it called "Simple Pleasures"? 1. The games are "simple" because they all share one basic, overriding rule: cards are removed in groups that add up to a particular number, in this case 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17. These games are all members of the "simple addition" family of solitaires. 2. The games are "pleasures" because they're fun to play, of course! Some of these games are pure exercises in luck, while others require great skill and concentration. They are all quite addictive and enjoyable. A few of the many features of Simple Pleasures are the following: - A flexible multi-player capability that can accommodate up to ten player's statistics and preferences. - A five-level undo capability - A "move alert" option lets the player know if any more moves are possible. - A "Hint" button. - Fully-configurable screen background and border colors. - Eight full-color card back designs to choose from. - Enhanced sound options. ===== Packing List ===================================== As released by the author or publisher, this package contained the following files in addition to this VENDINFO.DIZ: Filename Size Date Time CRC32 READ_ME.1ST 171 28-Jan-1996 01:13a F9D97F00 READ_ME.BAT 429 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 925871DB CARDS.CD1 44679 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 9442BCA8 CARDS.CD2 46075 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 1C17AC58 FILE_ID.DIZ 293 28-Jan-1996 01:13a C8B8CC79 SETUP.EXE 28672 28-Jan-1996 01:13a FA7F7A1D SP.EXE 200584 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 65863CA1 SP.HLP 11486 28-Jan-1996 01:13a E147BD92 SP.ICO 766 28-Jan-1996 01:13a A55C080F SETUP.INI 1229 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 45026F37 SPPIC1.PIC 11671 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 309B6C32 SPPIC2.PIC 2959 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 3BF6882C SPPIC3.PIC 22567 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 70159347 SPPIC4.PIC 10815 28-Jan-1996 01:13a C052D8A8 SPPIC5.PIC 4267 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 7173DE2E SPPIC6.PIC 1959 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 73D72879 SPPIC7.PIC 2207 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 0962F8DE SPPIC8.PIC 11559 28-Jan-1996 01:13a DFEC60C9 SP.PIF 545 28-Jan-1996 01:13a AB56FEC4 SP.TXT 36516 28-Jan-1996 01:13a E1F1F252 SP_FRM.TXT 4620 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 2A6BAA79 SP_H&S.TXT 5966 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 810642FC VENDOR.TXT 216 28-Jan-1996 01:13a 13796CEE ===== Installation ===================================== If you received this program as a ZIP archive, un-zip it into any convenient directory. If you're planning to run Simple Pleasures from DOS, create a directory for it (C:\SP is suggested) and copy the files into that directory. Run SP.EXE to play the games. If you're planning to run Simple Pleasures from Windows, you may use the SETUP.EXE program to install the program to a directory of your choosing, and to create a Program Manager group (or entry on the Windows 95 "Start" menu). If you've received this program directly from the author, there will be an INSTALL.EXE program on the distribution disk. This program will copy the files from the floppy to your hard disk. From there, you may either run SP.EXE directly from DOS, or use the SETUP.EXE program to set it up under Windows. If you encounter problems running the program, refer to SP.TXT for some troubleshooting suggestions. ===== Warranty ========================================= This software is sold "as is", without any warranty as to performance or any other warranties whether expressed or implied.
